“Early in 2013 I contacted Sundriven with a thought to installing a Grid Connect Solar PV System as I have previously dealt with this company’s principles over the last 20 plus years and they have proven to have had a good track record. They provided all information required to install a PV system to my location which has a 2 phase power supply to the property. They designed and submitted a quote for installation together with all paperwork required for the installation from start to finish. On the day of installation the crew arrived promptly on time on the coldest, wettest most inhospitable day in the middle of winter. The installation was completed by 3.30pm that day which goes to show the length this company and its employees go to in providing customer satisfaction. The Energex metering took longer to have installed than all the previous work done by Sundriven. This system is performing as designed with absolutely no problems at all due to the fact that only top line equipment is used. “First in August 2017 Brian from Sundriven came out to fix our solar system that showed a fault on the inverter. With his knowledge and experience he was quickly able to pinpoint which two panels were faulty. How good is that! Since then the two panels were replaced under warranty by Brian and the system works flawlessly.

This positive experience motivated us to install another 6.3kWp Fronius / JA Solar mono panel solar system with monitoring and a hot water diversion relay on our investment property in September 2017. Wow, this system performs! Way better than our system at home – often 40 kWh a day and usually over 30 kWh.

The Fronius inverter sends its data to the solar web portal where we can check what’s going on. We then collect each quarter the Feed In Tariff from and charge the tenants the self-consumed solar electricity. They get the cheap self-consumend solar electricity and a rebate on the grid rates in return. Win win.
